Indian military authorities tighten restrictions in Kashmir
Srinagar, October 05 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian military authorities and their agencies have tightened restrictions in Srinagar and adjoining districts following pro-freedom and anti-India protests in Srinagar.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian troops and police personnel are maintaining strict vigil across hotspots in Srinagar and adjacent districts to thwart any protests.
Additional Indian forces including paramilitary and police personnel have been deployed at vital spots. Apart from that drones, CCTV surveillance, nakas and frisking points are in place.
An Indian army officer said cordon and search operations, nakas, checking points will also continue to operate along the major highways in Kashmir Valley and more Indian armed personnel are being deployed in other areas as well.
The cordon and search operations (CASO) are conducted at many places, he added.
People in Kashmir valley are living under fear mostly after Aug 2019 when Modi government caged people of Kashmir and snatched unconstitutionally and illegally Articles 370 and 35 A without consent of the people of Kashmir.
