Srinagar, October 05 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a cricket mat was set ablaze by unknown persons in Baramulla district.
The incident took place at higher secondary ground in Delina area of the district, where a group of persons set ablaze a cricket mat on Tuesday morning.
It is pertinent to mention here that this is the second incident this year. Earlier in March 2021, two mats were also set blaze and other property of school was damaged.
Talking with a media person Riyaz Ahmad Dar, President Of Delina Cricket Forum said “We got to know about this incident at around 6:15am and when we rushed to the spot the mat was completely damaged, we have given an application to police demanding strict action against the culprits as it is the second attempt this year to stop cricketing activities in the district” he added.
