AJK govt to encourage journalists vibrant role for Kashmir cause: Qayyum Niazi

Islamabad, September 28 (KMS): The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi has said that the government would take all possible steps for the welfare of the journalist fraternity to ensure their more vibrant role to raise the Kashmir dispute both at home and abroad through the best of their high intellect and pen.

The AJK Prime Minister said this while talking to a delegation of journalist forum led by its president Zahid Akbar Abbasi at Jammu and Kashmir house in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister said that the popularly elected PTI-led AJK government will respect every positive criticism and advice by the media and will take all possible steps to address the grievances of the journalists community. He said the establishment of good governance in AJK and liberation of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir will be the priorities of the government. He said all resources will be channelized for the development and prosperity of the people of AJK.

Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi said the local bodies election will be held within a year to transfer power to the lower level to solve the problems of the common man.
