Imran, Erdoğan thanked for raising Kashmir dispute at UNGA

Islamabad, September 27 (KMS): A meeting of the unit organizations of Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement (Forum) was held in Islamabad, today, with APHC-AJK leader, Mustafa Muhammad Hussain Khateeb in chair.

Vice Chairman and Convener of Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Peace Foundation, Mehmood Akhtar Qureshi, Convener of Jammu and Kashmir Pir Punjal Civil Society, Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar and Jammu and Kashmir Pirpanjal Peoples Movement, Convener, Muhammad Lateef Lone participated in the meeting. Muhammad Hanif Calas and Malik Irshad took part from Jammu.

The participants of the meeting thanked Prime Minister, Imran Khan for his exemplary and historic speech at the UN General Assembly. They also thanked the world leaders, especially Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for supporting the Kashmiri people during the session of the UN General Assembly.

At the same time, they also praised Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Pakistan’s blind envoy to the United Nations Saima Saleem for highlighting the Kashmir dispute and the atrocities perpetrated on Kashmiris by the Indian troops to the world in a very effective manner.

The leaders also expressed grave concern over the killing of innocent youth in fake encounters and cordon and search operations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and called upon the United Nations and international human rights organizations to intervene immediately and stop India from its state terrorism in the occupied territory.
