Islamabad, September 10 (KMS): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, today, held an anti-India protest demonstration in front of National Press Club, Islamabad.
The protest was organized against the surge in Indian brutalities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and the indifferent approach adopted by the United Nations on Indian oppression in the territory.
The Hurriyat leaders strongly denounced the incessant Indian state terrorism in IIOJK. They also demanded of India to return the body of the veteran Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani, to his family, Syed Ali Gilani was buried in the darkness of the night by the occupation authorities against his will.
The participants of the demonstration urged the UN and international human rights organizations to support the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination and hold India accountable for its atrocities on the people of the occupied territory. The world community must put pressure on India to stop gross human rights violations in the territory, they added.
On one side, everywhere in the world political leaders are being released due to fear of coronavirus but, on the other, the Indian authorities are arresting Kashmiris and lodging them with criminals across India, they deplored, and demanded immediate release of all illegally detained Kashmiris.
