Gilani’s death loss for entire Muslim Ummah: Bilal Siddiqui
Srinagar, September 05 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Muzahamat, Billal Ahmed Siddiqui, paying glowing tributes to the martyred veteran Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani, said that his death was not a collective loss for the people of Kashmir but for the entire Ummah.
Billal Ahmed Siddiqui in a statement issued in Srinagar said that in the annals of history and freedom struggle Syed Ali Gilani would always be remembered a man who lived and died for the cause of freedom.
Syed Ali Gilani will always be an inspiration and a guiding light for generations to come for his unbending commitment, uncompromising stand, his unfettered resistance, his heroic courage and fearlessness and above all he would be an inspiration for working in toughest phases of the struggle, he added.
Billal Ahmed Siddiqui said, the way the authorities behaved post his death is nothing but reflection of their fear and frustration and the usual attitude of a colonial regime. By snatching his body, manhandling his family, burying him in dead of night and now cunningly arranging a case against them all speak volumes about their cowardice and frightening, he maintained.
