Press barred from reaching Syed Ali Gilani’s residence
Srinagar, September 01 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities disallowed reporters and mediapersons from reaching Syed Ali Gilani’s residence in Srinagar’s Hyderpora area, several journalists said.
Amid the heavy deployment, the reporters and photojournalists have been stopped more than 500 meters away from Syed Ali Gilani residence by the Indian forces’ personnel.
Concertina wires and barricades have been installed on several major streets of the city, including Hyderpora area.
Preparations for the midnight burial of the veteran pro-freedom leader who died of prolonged illness on Wednesday night, are underway in Hyderpora. A grave is being dug 300 meters from his residence.
