APHC calls for march towards Eidgah to pay homage to Syed Ali Gilani
Srinagar, September 01 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has appealed to the people of the territory to massively march towards Eidgah in Srinagar to pay tributes to the icon of Kashmir resistance movement, Syed Ali Gilani.
Syed Ali Gilani, who had been kept under continued house arrest by the Indian authorities at his Hyderpora residence for the last over a decade, breathed his last on late Wednesday evening.
The APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar appealed to the freedom loving people to assemble at Hyderpora to pay homage to the great leader of the Kashmir freedom movement.
It urged the people of IIOJK and AJK to observe complete shutdown against the custodial killing of Syed Ali Gilani.
It also appealed to the freedom loving people of IIOJK, people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Kashmiri Diaspora, people of Pakistan and whole Muslim Ummah, to offer prayers in absentia (Gaibana Nemazi Jinazah) and organize special prayer meetings for the veteran leader.
