Those who raise voice against BJP are jailed: Mehbooba
Srinagar, August 26 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President, Mehbooba Mufti, has said that those who raise their voice against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are being put behind bars.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of workers convention in Shopian, Mehbooba Mufti said that anyone who speaks or raises voice against BJP is being put behind bars so the people of Kashmir should not be sad about this as it is their routine work now.
The PDP president also said that the present Indian government led by the BJP was selling what Congress built in 70 years. What in the last 70 years the leadership of India, especially the Congress, had built in India, they have sold all that, she said, adding that they are selling roads, petrol pumps, airports, railway stations, power projects.
Mehbooba Mufti said the Modi government is lying that all the political leaders have been released from jails as many political leaders are still in prisons.
She also admitted that the leaders in her party have run away but added that the workers in her party are still standing as they have been with the party before, and they are with them even today.
Referring to the June meeting in Delhi between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and political parties from IIOJK, the PDP chief said that she had told the prime minister during the meeting that suppression and harassment of people should end.
