Indian soldier dies after falling into gorge in IIOJK
Jammu, August 20 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian soldier was killed after he fell into a gorge in Poonch district, today.
An Indian Defence ministry spokesman based in Jammu in a statement said that the soldier, Sepoy Lovepreet Singh, fell into a of 40 feet deep gorge during a search operation along the higher reaches in Pir Pnjal fall. He said that the soldier was acting as guide to the party which was moving along a treacherous route from Jabbiwal to Bagsar (Poonch).
The 23-year-old soldier belonged to Gurdaspur, Punjab. He is survived by his parents.
