Srinagar, August 14 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a government middle school building was damaged in a fire incident in Kakapora village of Pulwama district.
An official told media that a fire erupted in a government middle school with seven rooms at Wanpora area of Kakapora on Thursday night.
After getting the information, police team, fire and emergency, education department officials and local volunteers rushed to the spot and douse off the flames, he said. The Zonal Education Office of Kakapora told media that the fire broke out in the middle school building in Wanpora area of Kakapora.
The cause of the fire is believed to be due to an electric short circuit, ZEO said.
He said that a case has been lodged at police station, Kakapora, and further investigation is going on.
