Indian troops continue unabated HR violations in IIOJK: Behl

Jammu, August 14 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Social Peace Forum (JKSPF), Advocate Devinder Singh Behl has said that the Indian troops have continued unabated human rights violations in the territory despite international concerns to suppress the freedom movement.

Advocate Devinder Singh Behl in a statement issued in Jammu said, the Indian intelligence agencies conduct raids on the houses of freedom-loving people and harass them on one pretext or the other to keep them away from the freedom struggle.

He said, the agencies, on one hand, conduct raids and, on the other, Indian corporate media start baseless propaganda against them to malign their legitimate movement recognized by the United Nations and Indian leadership.

Devinder Singh Behl further said that human rights violations and pressure tactics could not stop people of Kashmir from pursuing the cause of freedom and would continue it till taking it to its logical conclusion.

He advised India to start dialogue with Pakistan and resolve the lingering Kashmir dispute according to the will of the people of Kashmir.

He added that India should understand that no nation had been kept under occupation for long time and India should also read writing on the wall and resolve the dispute in its own interest.
