Indian soldier injured in Sopore attack

Srinagar, August 13 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian soldier was injured in a grenade attack in Sopore town, today.

Unidentified persons lobbed a grenade towards the Indian paramilitary banker near a bank in the main town, today, resulting in the injuring of a soldier. A civilian also sustained injuries in the incident.

An Indian police officer told media men that the attackers lobbed a grenade on military forces near the bank. One Indian paramilitary constable and a civilian were injured in the blast.

Soon after the incident, Indian troops and police personnel cordoned off the area to nab the attackers.
