CRPF man injured in ongoing clash in Kulgam

Srinagar, August 12 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a trooper of Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was injured in an ongoing clash at Mirbazar in Kulgam district on Thursday.

The injured CRPF man has been evacuated to hospital for treatment.

Officials have identified the injured CRPF as Umesh Singh, a resident of Jharkhand. A CRPF officer confirmed the injuries to the trooper.

The clash erupted after BSF convoy came under attack on Jammu-Srinagar highway at Mirbazar in the area.

Earlier, police in a tweet claimed that militants fired upon BSF convey at NHW Kulgam. “No injury reported. However, militants are trapped,” the tweet added.
