Indian restrictions on IIOJK people condemned

Muzaffarabad, August 02 (KMS): The Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir and other political and religious parties have strongly condemned the Indian restrictions on Kashmiri people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

A circular issued by the Indian Criminal Investigation Department (CID) stated that those Kashmiri people who were involved in stone pelting cases and others must be denied the security clearance.

The Chairman of Pasban-e-Hurriyat, Uzair Ahmad Ghazali in a statement issued in Muzaffarabad said, India deliberately tries to suppress the voice of Kashmiri people.

He said, such kind of circular in a disputed territory is against international laws and violation of the United Nations Kashmir resolutions. “Kashmiri people are not afraid of CID paper, our struggle for freedom is obvious unless we get freedom from Indian illegal occupation”, he added.

He said, these circulars re-invoke that India doesn’t care the people of Kashmir but all it wants is to occupy Kashmiri land through coercively.

Meanwhile, representatives of other political parties also maintained that scrutiny and verification of Kashmiri people for issuance of passport was testimony of military siege and restrictions on the people of Kashmir.

They reiterated that they would demonstrate a massive protest procession on 5th August to highlight Indian illegal acts to the world conscience.
