Khan Sopori expresses concern over surge in CASOs in IIOJK

Srinagar, July 31 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior Hurriyat leader Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori has expressed serious concern over the surge in the cordon and search operations by Indian troops in the territory.

Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori in a statement issued in Srinagar said the Indian forces’ personnel, besides killing and arresting innocent Kashmir youth, also torture them.

He said that the people of Kashmir were sacrificing their lives for a great cause and India through its military might would not be able to prevent them from carrying forward their struggle for securing their right to self-determination.

Meanwhile, Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori along with a delegation visited Warpura, Dangarpura and Brathkalan areas of Sopore and expressed solidarity with the families of the youth recently martyred by Indian troops.
