Srinagar, July 27 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organizations have expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Ghulam Qadir Kenu, father of martyred mujahid commander, Sajad Kenu.
Ghulam Qadir Kenu passed away in Islamabad town of IIOJK, the other day.
Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement leaders Farida Bahenji, Molvi Bashir Ahmad Irfani and Abdul Majeed Mir in a joint statement extended condolence to the bereaved family. They prayed Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage for the aggrieved family to bear this loss with patience.
A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League led by its Secretary General participated in the funeral prayers of deceased. The delegation members expressed sympathies with the bereaved family. They praised the contribution of the Kenu family in the ongoing freedom movement.
Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter held a meeting in Islamabad, today, to pay condolences to the family of Shaheed Sajad Ahmed Kenu over the death of his father in IIOJK. The APHC-AJK leaders, office bearers and staff expressed their deep sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the aggrieved family. They prayed for highest ranks in Jannah for the departed soul and forbearance for the bereaved family.
