Indian forces launch CASOs in IIOJK

Srinagar, July 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian forces on Thursday afternoon launched massive cordon and search operations (CASOs) in Arwani area of Kashmir’s Islamabad district, Jammu’s Akhnoor sector and in Warpora village of Sopore in Baramulla district.

Media reports said that a joint team of Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Search Operation Group (SOG) conducted searches in the Arwani area of the Islamabad town.

Searches in the area were going on till last reports came in.

Meanwhile, the troops launched a CASO in Akhnoor sector of Jammu after an unidentified person was spotted by locals on Thursday.

The security forces launched a massive CASO in Warpora village of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

An official told media that a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, SOG Sopore and CRPF 179, 177 and 92 Battalions were conducting house to house searches in Warpora and sealed all the entry and exit points in the area.

Search operation was going on in the area when the last reports came in.
