APHC concerned about Indian policy of illegal expansionism in IIOJK

Srinagar, July 22 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has expressed deep concern over the Indian policy of illegal expansionism in violation of the United Nations Security Council resolutions which clearly defines Jammu and Kashmir as a disputed territory.

The APHC General Secretary, Molvi Bashir Ahmed Irfani in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Kashmir dispute could only be resolved in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

He termed the issuance of the domicile certificates to the non state subject spouses as a brazen conspiracy of implementation of the new set of laws to change the demography of the disputed territory. He added that India as an aggressor has crossed all limits of illegal occupation of Kashmir which had never been accepted by the freedom-loving people of Kashmir.

Reiterating the uncompromising stance of the APHC and the invincible commitment of the people of Kashmir, the APHC General Secretary said that India had utterly failed to suppress the freedom sentiments of the brave people of IIOJK by adopting the worst form of suppression and oppression.

He urged the United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres to take serious cognizance of the Indian state terrorism and illegal expansionism in the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir in the light of UN Security Council resolutions which are pending for final dispensation before this August Body.

He said that keeping in view the most critical situation prevailing in the territory in presence of one million Indian forces, it had become urgent to resolve the Kashmir dispute in the larger interests of global peace and prosperity, especially in South Asia.
