Islamabad, July 19 (KMS): The Convener of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani has congratulated the Muslim brethren particulalry Kashmiris living in illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in his message urged the people of Kashmir to be alive to the nefarious designs of the enemies within and without, who conspire to promote terrorism and Islamophobia, divide and frustrate Muslims and create hatred against their religion and its value system for breaking the nerves of their struggle against foreign occupation and domination in different forms and manifestations.
He said that the Muslims had been facing suppression for decades, led by revengeful and hateful regimes in Kashmir, India, Palestine, Myanmer and elsewhere in the world. They need to listen to teachings of Qur’an and holy practices of Hazrat Muhammad (SAWS) and Hazrat Ibrahim (AS), and strengthen faith about all the prophets of Allah, who shaped lives of mankind in line with the commandments of Allah. He said that Eid-ul-Azha, teaches us message of sacrifice and submission before the will of Allah. “Hazrat Ibrahim AS was embodiment of sacrifice and submission and will continue to be so until the day of Judgment,” he emphasized.
He praised the steadfastness and sacrifices of the Kashmiris in their struggle for freedom and said no power on earth can defeat people’s will and valour against India’s illegal and forcible occupation.
He condemned continued arrests of innocent youth and teenagers who were kept under detention in far-flung jails of India to break their will. He said, the UN should urge India to release all Hurriyat leaders and human rights activists from prisons, whose member has increased to thousands and killing spree continues in Jammu and Kashmir.
Besides, he said hundreds of acres of land had been acquired to construct colonies in the north and south of Kashmir to settle holders of illegal domicile certificates to wipe out majority Muslim populations from the territory.
