Kashmir resolution vital for durable peace in region: Naqash

Srinagar, July 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Chairman of Islamic Political Party Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash, has said that settlement of the Kashmir dispute is inevitable for durable peace in the region.

Mohammad Yousuf Naqash in a statement issued in Srinagar, paying tributes to the recently martyred youth, said, Indian military might, war and oppression will never ever resolve the Kashmir dispute. He added that Kashmir dispute is human and political issue in nature and its honorable and lasting solution in human and political perspective is inevitable for peace and development of the region.

He said, the long pending burning issue keeps on haunting the humanity in the region, particularly the oppressed people of IIOJK who are the worst sufferers of this conflict. Sincere and sustained dialogue between the real parties to this conflict is not the matter of convenience but need of the uncertain situation, he maintained.

Mohammad Yousuf Naqash said, if India is sincere and really wants to settle the lingering dispute in its real perspective, it needs to engage in sincere, meaningful, sustained and result-oriented trilateral dialogue for its lasting solution in accordance with the UN resolutions.
