Hurriyat leader Mushtaqul Islam arrested from Srinagar

Srinagar, July 08 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the police arrested Hurriyat leader Mushtaqul Islam from Srinagar, today.

Indian police raided the house of the Hurriyat leader in Batamaloo in Srinagar and arrested him. He was lodged at Special Task Force, cargo interrogation center, in Srinagar.

The family of the leader expressed serious concern over his arrest.

Meanwhile, the Acting Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (JKML), Abdul Ahad Parra in a statement issued in Srinagar, condemning the arrest of Mushtaqul Islam, said that on one side, the people of the territory were facing hardships, and on the other, they were being arrested without any justification.

He demanded the release of all illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists, including Mushtaqul Islam.
