Speakers express concern over surge in Indian atrocities in IIOJK

Islamabad, June 25 (KMS): The speakers at a conference in Islamabad have expressed concern over the surge in the atrocities being committed by Indian troops on the innocent people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The conference was organized by Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC-AJK) at its office in Islamabad, today.

The Hurriyat leaders in their addresses deplored that the Indian forces had made the life of the people of IIOJK a hell as they were killing innocent people on daily basis during so-called cordon and search operations.

They said that recently the Indian forces’ personnel killed three Kashmiri youth in Shopian which was condemnable. They said India will never succeed to suppress the freedom sentiment of the Kashmiri people through such cheap tactics and they will continue their liberation movement till complete success.

The Hurriyat leaders urged the international community to take cognizance of the growing Indian brutalities in the occupied territory and play role in settling the lingering Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.

They deplored that, on one side, the Modi-led fascist Indian government was suppressing the Kashmiris’ liberation movement through military might, while and on the other, it was conspiring to change the demography of the territory.
