Dialogue only way to move forward on Kashmir dispute: Moosvi

Srinagar, June 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the President of Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman Sharie Shian, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, has said that dialogue is the only way to move forward on the Kashmir dispute.

Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, delivering Friday sermon at Central Imambargah in Badgam, today, said the Kashmir dispute is a reality and durable peace and development cannot be established in the region without its amicable settlement.

He said the leadership of New Delhi and Islamabad should start dialogue over Kashmir as strained relations between them are of no help. “We are ready to support such process at any level. But let the two nations first adopt a step by step approach,” he said.

He added that in the past too, the Hurriyat leadership had urged both sides to take the confidence-building measures on Kashmir as it will create a conducive atmosphere for the settlement of the lingering dispute. KMS—12A
