Islamabad, June 18 (KMS): Vice Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM), Abdul Majeed Malik, Vice President of Jammu Kashmir Pir Panjal Freedom Movement (JKPPFM), Qazi Imran, and Convener of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Association, Khalid Shabbir, have condoled the death of Jammu based freedom activist, Nasir Khan, who passed away in Muzaffarabad after brief illness.
Abdul Majeed Malik, Qazi Imran and Khalid Shabbir in a joint statement issued in Islamabad expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. They prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage to the aggrieved family members to bear the irreparable loss with patience.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement Chairman, Muhammad Sharif Sartaj, Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Civil Society Chairman, Maulana Amir Muhammad Shamsi, Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Peace Foundation Chairman, Muhammad Hanif Kalis, Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman Seerat Committee Chairman, Maulana Abdul Qayyum Matoo, Jammu and Kashmir Youth Forum For Peace Chairman, Malik Mohammad Irshad, the APHC-AJK Convener, Muhammad Hussain Khateeb, Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Peace Foundation Vice Chairman and Convener, Mahmood Akhtar Qureshi Advocate, Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Civil Society Convener, Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar, and Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Freedom Movement Vice Chairman, Ayaz Ahmed Zargar, in a joint statement expressed grief over the demise of Nasir-ul-Islam. they paid glowing tributes to him for his services and sacrifices for the ongoing Kashmir freedom movement.
Tehreek-e-Istiqlal’s Vice Chairman, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, and Youth Wing Chairman, Tanveer Durrani, in a joint statement also expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Nasir-ul-Islam. They said that Nasir-ul-Islam remain illegally detained in Indian jails for six years and his family also faced Indian atrocities but he never gave up his affiliation with the ongoing Kashmir freedom movement.
