Kashmir solution urged to avert nuclear catastrophe in S. Asia

Srinagar, June 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Islamic Political Party Chairman Mohammad Yousuf Naqash while expressing serious concern over the uncertain situation in the territory has said that the unresolved Kashmir dispute is posing potential threat of war between two nuclear armed countries, India and Pakistan.

Muhammad Yousuf Naqash in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the unilateral and oppressive decision taken by India on 5th August 2019 against the will of Kashmiri people has further worsened the already uncertain situation in occupied Kashmir.

It is a nightmare for Kashmiri people as it challenges, tramples and disregards the very essence of universally accepted basic human rights including inalienable right to self determination.

He said that lasting solution of Kashmir conflict lies in implementing United Nations Security Council resolutions on Kashmir and added that it is the duty and obligation of world to fulfill this promise made to the occupied people of Kashmir.

Jammu and Kashmir Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi Chairman, Abdul Samad Inqilabi in a statement denounced the spree of killing unleashed by Indian forces in the occupied territory. He said that IIOJK at present has neither freedom of expression nor freedom to practice religion. He deplored that Kashmiri detainees are deprived of basic amenities in jails.
