Srinagar, June 11 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, at least 15 residential houses were gutted in a massive fire incident in Noorbagh area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The fire is believed to have emanated due to gas leakage and soon spread to nearby houses.
An official said that due to massive fire, several gas cylinders exploded which caused the fire to spread immediately. The fire tenders from Rafiabad, Sopore and Sangrama besides fire tenders from Baramulla town were pressed into service and it was after two hours that fire was brought under control.
At least six people were injured and 170-200 people were affected in the incident of fire.
