Dead body of youth fished out from river Jhelum in IIOJK
Srinagar, June 08 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, dead body of a youth who drowned in river Jhelum yesterday was fished out in Kakapora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, today.
A rescue operation was launched on Monday morning after Manzoor Ahmad, a resident of Hayatpora area of Chadoora in central Kashmir’s Badgam district reportedly drowned in the river while extracting sand. His body was recovered, today.
A police official confirming the recovery of the youth told media that the body has been handed over to the family after conduct of necessary medico-legal formalities.
