Jammu, June 08 (KMS): The Congress party has castigated the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) for its failure on all fronts especially during the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic and held it answerable to the people for not fulfilling its promises.
The Congress leaders came down heavily on the BJP accusing it of making false promises before elections during a Block Congress Committee, Akhnoor, meeting held through virtual mode that was arranged by the Congress leader Satish Sharma, the son of late Congress MP Madan Lal Sharma. The meeting was presided over by Hari Singh Chib, President District Congress Committee, Jammu Rural.
President, DCC Jammu Rural, Hari Singh Chib while addressing the meeting, seriously took the BJP to task asserting that the saffron party has miserably failed to resolve the common people’s issues on ground.
The senior Congress leader said that the people are in dire straits today and in such a situation the Congress party needs to strengthen the party base at grass roots level to resolve the problems of common masses which have increased manifold.
