Srinagar, June 07 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has termed the prevailing situation as the most critical and said that the people of Kashmir have no option but to lead the movement for right to self-determination to its logical conclusion.
APHC General Secretary Molvi Bashir Ahmed Irfani in a statement issued in Srinagar strongly condemned the deployment of additional military force and the ongoing policy of repression and suppression carried out by the Indian occupation troops in the territory. He said that the people of Kashmir are engaged in a peaceful political movement for the resolution of Kashmir dispute as recommended by the United Nations Security Council resolutions.
The statement added that India as a fascist military power believes in expansionist designs and is hell bent on destroying the institution of dialogue as a viable method of resolving the dispute between the two or more member countries of the United Nations.
The APHC leader urged the United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres to fulfill his moral and political obligations and take cognizance of the dangerous situation prevailing in the occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir, which is a bone of contention between the two nuclear powers that poses a serious threat to the global peace and prosperity.
In this critical situation, it has become highly imperative for the international community to resolve Kashmir dispute as per wishes and aspirations of the people of Kashmir, guaranteed by the United Nations Security Council resolutions, the statement maintained.
