Concern expressed over repeated incidents of uranium recovery in India

Srinagar, June 05 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, political analysts and experts have expressed concern over the repeated incidents of the recovery of highly radioactive uranium in India.

The political analysts and experts in their interviews in Srinagar said, the open trade of uranium in India might be dangerous for all humans. They said that the international community must conduct a probe into the incidents.

They also demanded strict action by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) against India. The IAEA must review India’s nuclear security protocols and must also put it in the black list of Financial Action Task Force (FATF) to effectively monitor money trails of such transactions, they added.

The political analysts and experts deplored that uranium, stolen from US, had been found in Indian black market. They said, radioactive material business is booming in India while country is struggling to survive from the severe wave of Covid-19. Post Covid will leave India shattered, without many citizens, BJP and of course Modi, they maintained.

On the other hand, the political analysts and experts said that IAEA Director General, Rafael Mariano Grossi, in a video appreciated efforts by Pakistan to increase nuclear safety and security.

Rafael Mariano Grossi commended Pakistan on the inauguration of K2 Nuclear power plant.
