Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami pays homage to Imam Khomeini

Srinagar, June 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami (TWI), a constituent of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, has paid homage to Ayatollah Syed Ruhollah Khomeini, the founder and great leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, on his 32nd death anniversary.

The TWI spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Imam Khomeini (RA) was a strong supporter of the oppressed all over the world including Palestine and Kashmir and he had raised his voice for them throughout his life. He said the late revolutionary leader had once said if Muslims are united then how is it possible that the tyrant India will snatch our beloved Kashmir from us and we will not be able to do anything.

The spokesman said that Imam Khomeini (RA) never forgot Kashmir whenever he mentioned oppressed nations in his Hajj messages. He said that the late leader considered mutual unity and brotherhood essential for the survival of the Muslim Ummah and he spent his entire life trying to bring the Islamic world closer.

The TWI spokesman said that while the Islamic Revolution of Iran had lit a new candle of religiosity and religiosity all over the world, a new spirit was infused among the oppressed people of the world as well as the Kashmiri youth to stand up against oppression, exploitation and vanity.

The spokesman said that the name of Imam Khomeini (RA) still shakes the powers of tyranny and colonialism. He prayed for the elevation of the status of the deceased revolutionary leader and for the security and development of Iran, Pakistan and other Muslim countries.
