Protest rally in Jhelum valley against Indian state terrorism in IIOJK

Jhelum Valley (AJK), June 04 (KMS): A protest rally was held on Srinagar Road in Jhelum Valley in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, today, against the Indian atrocities on the people of illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, a large number of people participated in the rally organized by Pasbaan-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir against the Indian atrocities on unarmed civilians in IIOJK. The demonstrators carrying banners and placards chanted slogans against India and in favour of Kashmir’s freedom from the Indian illegal occupation and the Kashmiri martyrs.

Addressing the protest rally, Chairman of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, PPP leader Shaukat Javed Mir, Javed Ahmed Mughal, Maulana Qazi Muhammad Fahad, Maulana Zia-ur-Rehman Siddiqui, Khalil Ahmed Mughal, Qari Naveed Sikandari, Muhammad Ismail and other speakers said that the Kashmiri people had rejected India’s forcible occupation of their homeland. They said that the UN should resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations for ensuring lasting peace in the region.

The speakers said the people of Jammu and Kashmir reserve the right to use all modes of resistance to secure from India their freedom and the right to self-determination. They urged New Delhi to stop its state terrorism in IIOJK. They added that the people of Azad Kashmir are ready for any major campaign for the liberation of IIOJK from Indian clutches.
