Indian Defence Ministry approves construction of 6 submarines for Navy

New Delhi, June 04 (KMS): As part of New Delhi’s hegemonic designs, Indian Defence Ministry has approved construction of six conventional submarines for the Indian Navy at a cost of around Rs 43,000 crore.

The project was cleared by the Defence Acquisition Council (DAC), highest decision-making body on procurement, chaired by Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh, Indian media reported.

A Request for Proposal (RFP) for the make-in-India project named ‘P-75 India’ will be issued soon.
