Two Indian soldiers killed in mishaps in IIOJK

Srinagar, June 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian soldier died after he fell from a bridge and drowned in a water body in Shopian district, today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, officials said that the soldier identified as Arun Kumar of army’s 62 Rashtriya Rifles slipped from the bridge during patrolling near Sedow area. They said that Kumar was a resident of Pathankot.

A police officer confirmed the death of the soldier.

Meanwhile, a 26-year-old Army Casper driver died in an accident in Zangli area of Kupwara district, today. Sepoy Bhoopati S was behind the vehicle when the handbrake of the vehicle got disengaged due to some “mechanical fault” as a result of which it moved backwards and pushed the soldier with another Casper which was parked behind it, leaving him trapped.
