Islamabad, June 03 (KMS): Arrogant Narendra Modi and his Hindutva brigade are hell bent on purging India of its minorities including Sikhs.
A report released by Kashmir Media Service said, oppression against Sikhs in India increased manifold following Indian army’s attack on Golden Temple in Amritsar in June 1984. Operation Blue Star and in its aftermath in June 1984 was a systematic and deliberate attempt to kill Sikhs and hurt their religious identity.
The report said the Operation marked the beginning of a policy of oppression against Sikhs in India. Thousands of Sikhs were massacred, women gang-raped since 1984.
According to some estimates, 30,000 Sikhs were butchered by Hindus with govt’s connivance in 1984 and Sikhs will never forget the atrocities committed against them by the fanatic Hindus with the complicity of the Indian govt.
Sikhs have been demanding int’l probe into the deadly wave of violence against their community in India as Operation Blue Star and sacrilege of Akal Takht will always remain itched in the memory of Sikhs.
The report pointed out that brave Sikhs will never forget the desecration of their holiest site by the Indian army in June 1984 while the massacre of Sikhs exposed the so-called secular face of India.
