Srinagar, February 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, was discharged from Soura Institute of Medical Sciences in Srinagar, today.

Syed Ali Gilani was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital in the wee hours of Thursday after he developed chest congestion and severe pain. Several tests including ECG were conducted on him. »

Srinagar, February 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leaders staged a protest rally at Lal Chowk in Srinagar against the death sentence awarded to Muzaffar Ahmad Rathar of Kulgam by an Indian court.

JKLF activists, while strongly condemning the verdict of a lower court of Kolkata, said that Muzaffar Ahmad Rathar was never given a fair trial and was a victim of Indian judicial vengeance.

Holding placards and raising slogans against the biased Indian judiciary, the participants of the protest sat on road for about one hour and were addressed by various party leaders who strongly condemned the court judgment. The protest was led by Noor Muhammad Kalwal. »

Srinagar, February 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) leader, Mohammad Yousuf Naqash, Farida Behanji and Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori have condemned in strong terms the awarding of death sentence to a Kashmiri youth, Muzaffar Ahmad Rather, by an Indian court.

Mohammad Yousuf Naqash addressing a public gathering at Waghama in Bijbehara said that it was clearly a biased judgment as the victim was a Kashmiri youth.

He said India uses its judiciary against Kashmiris and Indian Muslims. He said that it had been a routine for Indian authorities to arrest Kashmiris and Indian Muslims on mere suspicions. He said after implicating the suspects in false cases, Indian authorities then use judiciary against them. “It is due to such insensitive behaviour that Kashmiris have lost faith in Indian judiciary,” he said. »

Srinagar, Feb 3 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader, Aga Syed Hassan Almosvi Alsafvi expressing solidarity with 27 years old Muzaffar Ahmed Rather and his family who has been awarded death sentence by an Indian court said that the Indian judiciary had again been used to punish the people of Kashmir for their political views and aspirations.

Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi while addressing a gathering in Budgam termed the verdict as murder of justice and said that oppressed Kashmiri people could only raise their voices against the injustice and would resist all efforts of oppressors and added that it was the responsibility of the international community and civil society to stop brutalities against Kashmiris. »
