Srinagar, March 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference has said that continued house arrest of its Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, has taken a heavy toll on his health.

The APHC spokesman Ayaz Muhammad Akbar in a statement issued in Srinagar said, Syed Ali Gilani is under house detention for the past more than six years. “This has taken a heavy toll on his health. Less physical activity due to house detention can complicate his health condition. His residence is under surveillance as CCTV cameras are installed at several points near it. It is illegal and unconstitutional to confine him to four walls of the house,” he said. »

Srinagar, March 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik has said that the supply of around 5,000 more pellet guns to the territory is expression of Indian aggression against the Kashmiris.

Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar said, the pellet guns that are meant against animals are being used to kill, blind and maim Kashmiris that too without any shame or regret. The so-called rulers and other pro-India politicians and parties are actually responsible for this oppression against the people of occupied Kashmir, he added. »

Srinagar, March 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police arrested the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leaders, Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Noor Muhammad Kalwal and others when they were holding a peaceful sit-in near Budshah Chowk in Srinagar, today.

Those arrested also included Professor Javaid, Muhammad Aslam Sheikh and Muhammad Irfan Khan. The police even did not spare a special person, Imtiyaz Ahmad Parray, and arrested him too. The arrestees have been shifted to central jail, Srinagar. »

Srinagar, March 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Kashmir Economic Forum (KEF), an umbrella body of traders, has said that the officials of Commercial Taxes Department are harassing the drivers of Kashmir Valley-bound trucks at Lakhanpur check post in Jammu.

The KEF in a statement issued in Srinagar said that in the name of physical verification, loaded trucks of Kashmiri traders at Lakhanpur check post were stopped by autocratic officials and were kept in the queue for several days. These officials have no sympathy with the traders, it said. »

Srinagar, March 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police arrested the APHC General Secretary and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), Shabbir Ahmad Shah, in Tral town, today.

The police took Shabbir Ahmed Shah into custody when he was going to visit the parents of martyred popular youth leader, Burhan Wani, in the town.

Burhan Wani was killed by Indian troops in a fake encounter on July 8, last year. His killing triggered massive uprising in the occupied territory. »

Srinagar, March 03 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Hurriyet Jammu and Kashmir (TeH) has strongly denounced the shifting of its illegally detained leader, Hakim-ur-Rehman Sultani, from Baramulla hospital to Kupwara jail.

The TeH in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Hakim-ur-Rehman Sultani was admitted at the hospital where he had to undergo a surgery of his broken arm. »

The police arrested at least twenty youth during a raid last night for their alleged involvement in stone-pelting during a visit of pro-India PDP minister to the village on February 27. »
