Srinagar, March 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL), Mukhtar Ahmed Waza was sent to seven-day police remand.

The JKPL spokesman in a statement in Srinagar said that a judge in Kulgam sent Mukhtar waza to police custody. He termed it as frustration of the puppet administration which has turned the territory into a police state.

He said, Mukhtar Waza is suffering from various ailments like stomach and cardiac problems and the puppet authorities would be responsible if anything untoward happened to the detained leader.
