Srinagar, December 08 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has reiterated that the Kashmiris will continue to fight for right to self-determination till they achieve the inalienable right guaranteed to them by the United Nations.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar, was reacting to the assertions made by a Bharatiya Janata Party leader on Kashmir.

“Some stooges and egotistic persons have always, for their interests, served evil forces and played foul with the interests of Muslim Ummah and BJP spokesman, Shanawaz Hussain like people fall in that category,” Syed Ali Gilani said.

Elaborating, he added that the people of Kashmir would never relinquish their demand for self-determination. “If India feels that people of J&K have expressed their mandate for India, then without any further delay it should seek peoples’ consent through a constitutional, moral and democratic way,” he added.

Appealing people to boycott the so-called elections, he asked them to exercise their devotion properly and understand the deceitful politics of India and its stooges in the territory.

Meanwhile, he called for peaceful demonstrations against arrest of Hurriyet leaders and activists. “We, in strong words, condemn these arrests. Thousands of political workers are already languishing in jails,” he added.

Shanawaz Hussain addressing an election meeting in Rajouri said that only BJP under the leadership of Narendra Modi could bring about the overall development in the territory.
