Srinagar, October 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) has called for a march towards Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) in Srinagar on October 14, 2017 to protest against incessant incidents of braid-chopping and attempts at altering and changing history, culture, heritage and Muslim majority status of Jammu and Kashmir by authorities in New Delhi.

The JRL comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in a statement issued in Srinagar asked the people to massively participate in the march. »

Srinagar, October 06 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, in 2016 when the territory witnessed killing of over 100 civilians and injuring of thousands in the firing and shelling of Indian forces’ personnel on protesters, 136 FIRs were registered against people in Chenab Valley and Pir Panchal region of Jammu province for taking part in massive protests against the killings.

The details submitted by the authorities to estimates committee of the so-called Kashmir Assembly revealed that 136 FIRs were registered against protesters in Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban and Poonch districts. »

Muhammad Yousuf Mir in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the sacrifices of political detainees including Masarrat Aalam Butt, Aasiya Andrabi, Dr Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo, Dr Shafi Shariati, Ghulam Qadir Butt, Fehmeeda Sofi, Muhammad Rafique Ganai, Abdul Ahmad Parra, Asadullah Parray, Hakeem Showkat and Muhammad Ramzan Khan would not be allowed to go waste. »

Srinagar, March 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred one Kashmiri youth and injured many in Pulwama district late night, today.

Indian troops during a violent military operation killed the youth in Tral area of the district. There were massive clashes in the area, many youth were reportedly injured in the clashes with Indian troops. One house is also been blasted by troops. »

Srinagar, March 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has condemned the inhuman attitude of police with the political detainees in a police station in Islamabad district.

The DFP spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Divisional Police Officer of Sherbagh, Islamabad, had let loose tyranny on the inmates. He said, the officer treats the prisoners in a very inhuman manner and uses uncivilized language against them. »

Srinagar, March 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leaders, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Syed Bashir Andrabi, Feroz Ahmed Khan and Muhammad Ramzan Khan have expressed concern over Indian government’s decision of providing more pellet guns for its armed forces to quell protest demonstrations in the territory.

Nayeem Ahmad Khan addressing in Srinagar a meeting of his party, the Jammu and Kashmir National Front, said that India could not suppress the Kashmiris’ freedom movement by using blind and ruthless force against them. He said that New Delhi had always been looking for the justifications to use excessive force to intimidate the people of Kashmir into submission but miserably failed in its nefarious designs. »

Srinagar, March 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, 28-year-old graduate, Mudasir Ahmad Butt, moved from surgeries to surgeries since August 27, 2016 when he lost his eye to a teargas shell fired by Indian forces in Bugam village where residents were preparing a venue for a peaceful pro-freedom rally.

Mudasir’s left eye has been removed and his nasal bone is also damaged, leaving his facial features altered.

“I cannot look at my young son’s face as it breaks my heart to see his condition. To add to this, my financial condition isn’t such that I can get more needed surgeries done on him,” said Mudasir’s father, Abdul Hamid Butt, in an interview. »

Srinagar, March 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Aasiya Andrabi has denounced the authorities for implicating two youth of Baramulla in false cases.

Aasiya Andrabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the youth, Sajad Ahmad Khan and Shabir Ahmad Butt, both from Baramulla, had been detained in Baramulla Joint Interrogation Centre for last five months and the police claim that they were arrested the other day was a lie. »
