Srinagar, August 10 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik ended his six-day hunger strike on Sunday, following a message to him by the Indian Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh that measures to lift the economic and trade blockade of the Kashmir valley would be taken very soon.
The message to the JKLF Chairman was conveyed by the local authorities in the Soura hospital of Srinagar in the presence of a large number of people including the senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt.
