World urged to take notice of Indian state terrorism

Concern expressed over discovery of unnamed graves

Srinagar, May 18 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the third day of the Martyrdom Week, today, was marked with the All Parties Hurriyet Conference’s fervent appeal to the international community to take cognisance of the fact that Indian troops were continuously engaged in the killing of innocent Kashmiri youth in custody and fake encounters.

The APHC leaders, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Maulana Abbas Ansari and Nayeem Ahmed Khan made the appeal while addressing a seminar held at Islamia High School in Srinagar. They expressed grave concern over the discovery of unnamed mass graves in the occupied territory, apprehending that the graves were of those Kashmiris who were killed by the troops in custody. Vice Chancellor of Dar-ul-Uloom Deoband, Maulana Ahmed Khazir Shah Kashmiri and a scholar from New Delhi, Dr Muzaffar Hussain also spoke on the occasion.

The APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq maintained that the unique sacrifices of Kashmiris would not be allowed to go waste and reaffirmed the pledge to continue the liberation struggle, despite all odds, till it reaches its logical end.

Indian troops, in their fresh acts of state terrorism, martyred two more innocent Kashmiri youth, one at Kuta Bela in Bandipora and another at Gambhir in Rajouri. Five people including three children were killed in a grenade blast at Gurmal in Ramban.
