Srinagar, May 13 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops and police on the pretext of searching vehicles are harassing women teachers.
The teachers working in different schools said, the troops and personnel of Special Operations Group (SOG) without any reason are stopping their vehicles at many places during their travel from their homes to working places. They added that besides being harassed the troops pass on indecent remarks at them.
A woman teacher pointed out that the SOG personnel stopped their vehicle near Sambora in Pampore and barged into their vehicle and beat the driver to pulp. She added that the teachers boarding the vehicle were harassed and when they tried to resist, the SOG personnel threatened them in a rude language. The driver had several marks of beating on his left arm and leg. “If the driver had committed any mistake they could have fined him or seized the documents but without any reason he was beaten,” said the teacher.
