Srinagar, July 31 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Professor Abdul Ghani Butt has said that Kashmiris treat Hindu yatris as guests while rightwing Hindus of Jammu continue to victimise Muslims which will not be tolerated at any cost.
The Hurriyet leader while speaking at a seminar at Town Hall, Islamabad said that if the harassment of Muslims in Jammu continued by the rightwing Hindus we would come on the streets to halt the Darbar move.
Reacting to threats of Hindu extremist organisations, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena to block the supplies to Kashmir, Butt said, “We are least bothered about their threats. We will force the administration to open the Mughal road.”
The Hurriyet leader asked India and Pakistan to come forward with a flexible approach for the resolution of Kashmir dispute. “Not only the peace in South Asia but the economic development of the two countries will also be a distant dream if the Kashmir dispute is not resolved forthwith,” he added.
In his speech on the occasion, APHC leader, Muhammad Azam Inqalabi pointed out that Hindu extremists were engaged in distributing arms in some areas of Line of Control to create conditions like that of 1947. He demanded withdrawal of Indian troops from occupied Kashmir at the earliest.
