Kashmiris’ pledge to continue struggle reaffirmed

Srinagar, July 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred one innocent Kashmiri youth during a military operation at Arin in Bandipore.

A ember of Indian Army sponsored Village Defence Committee was killed and two others injured in an attack at Lamban Gath in Udhampur.

Addressing a seminar in Srinagar on the occasion of the Accession of Kashmir with Pakistan Day, today, the speakers including senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, Mian Abdul Qayoom and Z G Muhammad pointed out that India’s strategy to suppress Kashmiris indigenous movement by force had failed. They urged India to accept the ground realities and take concrete steps to resolve the conflict over Kashmir, once and for all. A resolution passed at the end of the seminar maintained that the people of Kashmir would continue marching towards the destiny, marked by them on this day in 1947.

The President of Kashmir Bar Association, Nazir Ahmad Ronga in a statement in Srinagar welcomed the recent resolution unanimously passed by the European Parliament in Strasburg about the discovery of unnamed mass graves in occupied Kashmir. He appreciated the European Parliament’s role in raising the issue of human rights violations in the occupied territory.
