Srinagar, May 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, several seminars were organised to pay homage to prominent Hurriyet leaders, Mirwaiz Moulvi Muhammad Farooq and Khawaja Abdul Ghani Lone on their martyrdom anniversaries on Wednesday.

Large number of people attended these seminars expressing their solidarity with the martyrs. Throughout the day, besides reciting Quranic verses, people offered special prayers for these martyrs.

People, belonging to different walks of life, praised the Hurriyet leaders for their commendable service to society, religion and the liberation movement. While lauding their boldness, vision and efforts for the unity and freedom of Kashmir, people vowed to take the Kashmiris’ cause, for which they laid down their lives, to its logical end.
