Tehreek-e-Hurriyet concerned over Ali Gilani’s deteriorating health

Srinagar, June 18 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Tehreek-e-Hurriyet Jammu and Kashmir (TeH) has urged the regional officer of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) to take serious notice of the deteriorating health of senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani in custody. In a statement issued in Srinagar, the TeH spokesman, while expressing concern over the deteriorating health of Syed Ali Gilani, said that Hurriyet leader’s son was not being allowed to meet him for last several days.

He said that the DSP headquarters had informed them to seek the permission from the authorities of central jail Srinagar as Ali Gilani was handed over to them.

“These events have created apprehensions that veteran leader’s health has further deteriorated and administration was deliberately not allowing people to meet him,” the statement added.

The spokesman appealed the regional officer of the ICRC to take strong notice of the matter and use its influence to allow people and Gilani’s son to meet the Hurriyet leader.
