London, June 22 (KMS): The Executive Director of Kashmir Centre London, Professor Nazir Ahmad Shawl, welcoming the unification efforts of the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has termed the development as a good sign for Kashmiris’ liberation struggle.

Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl in a statement in London said that the successful meeting between Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Syed Ali Gilani was the best news for the people of the occupied territory, struggling for their right to self-determination. He maintained that the development would certainly help to resolve the Kashmir dispute as per UN resolution and in accordance with Kashmiris’ aspirations.

Professor Shawl pointed out that the move would defeat the conspiracies being hatched by India to weaken the Kashmiris’ cause. He urged India to give up its intransigence for the peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute.
