Shahabuddin seeks probe into IHK unmarked graves

Jammu, April 26 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, former member of Indian Parliament and a prominent Muslim intellectual, Syed Shahabuddin has sought an impartial probe by a retired high court judge into the recently discovered nameless graves in Baramulla district.

The probe was sought in a letter to the puppet Chief Minister of the occupied territory, Ghulam Nabi Azad.

Reacting to an editorial that appeared in a local newspaper on April 4, 2008 regarding mass graves, the former Member Parliament asked Ghulam Nabi Azad to start an inquiry into whole incident. He also questioned the silence of the administration on the issue despite protests by the people across the occupied territory and condemnation of the same by the human rights organizations.
